Hardware, backup and editions
Touchscreen · fingerprint
Use the touchscreen to review transfers; fingerprints can unlock Keystone or authorize signing.
Words, not unlock credentials
Recovery words restore the wallet; your PIN, password and fingerprint cannot replace them.
Keep each wallet’s backup, plus its exact optional passphrase, privately offline.
Two firmware choices, one device
Multi-Coin and Bitcoin-Only are firmware choices on the same Keystone.
Switch only to the same or a higher version; check your backup and keep any exact passphrase first.
Rechargeable · USB-C charging
Keystone is a rechargeable touchscreen wallet with USB-C charging and a microSD slot.
Charging cable and backup sheets
The base package covers charging and writing your backup, but excludes microSD.

Getting ready to use it
Create on Keystone, then connect
Create the wallet on Keystone and write down its recovery words before connecting an app.
Sparrow or BlueWallet by QR
Connect Sparrow or BlueWallet by scanning Keystone’s public account QR code.
Connecting an app shares public account data, not your recovery words.
Optional · not stored on it
An optional passphrase opens a separate wallet and must be kept exactly as set.
Keystone does not store it; recovery words alone cannot reopen that passphrase wallet.
Bitcoin in Sparrow or BlueWallet
Use Bitcoin accounts in Sparrow on a computer or BlueWallet on a phone.

Each time you receive or pay

Computer needed · USB or microSD

Have a checked recovery backup and any exact passphrase before updating.

Lost, wiped, forgotten or failed
Import on Keystone, not in an app
Restore on a new or wiped Keystone using the saved recovery words and any exact passphrase.
Reset by verifying the seed
Keystone’s forgotten-passcode route verifies your recovery words before resetting the passcode.
Have the correct wallet’s backup and any exact passphrase before changing access settings.
Keep it set up; move funds
If Keystone still signs, preserve it while moving funds to a separately backed-up wallet.
Don’t reset it or change firmware while it’s your only way to sign.
