Plan for the screen and separate accessories

Mini has a 2.7-inch touchscreen; Titan 2.0 offers a larger four-inch screen if reading space matters more. Keep Mini’s separate charging and update adapter with it. We have not measured screen readability or battery life.

Manufacturer sources disagree about Mini’s size and weight; the hardware details below retain both conflicting records. Do not rely on an unqualified weight or dimensions comparison.

Follow the Mini-specific firmware preparation route.

Check the asset and network as well as the phone

Check the exact asset, network and task before choosing Mini. Our compatibility entries cover Bitcoin and Ethereum; an app buy, swap or staking listing does not establish every hardware-signing route.

Find the network and confirm the sending or receiving task you need.

  1. Open the intended networkChoose your required Mini networks during setup. To display a token on an existing network in App 5.0, open that network → Manage Tokens.
  2. Establish the token’s identityFind the token by name or contract address. Check that contract against the project’s official information for the same network; matching a name is insufficient.
  3. Enable the correct tokenEnable its toggle only on the intended network. Adding a token does not establish support for another network.

App 4.X uses the network’s + control; the official procedure supplies its name and unlisted-token routes.

ELLIPAL lists MetaMask support, but our computer entry remains unconfirmed for complete Mini setup and signing on each operating system. Preparing a firmware card on a computer is separate from signing.

Create the wallet on Mini, then connect the app

Create account makes new keys. To restore a wallet on Mini, use Recover via Seed Phrase.

Restore an existing wallet here instead of creating new keys.

Get and install the official app. Have Mini powered on, with paper ready in private.

For an account already on Mini, contact support for reconnection help; do not create or recover it to connect the app.

The exact Mini guide supplies App 4.X’s route and help with QR visibility, brightness and lighting.

For a new wallet only

  1. Create the account on MiniChoose Create account, set its name and account password, then Backup → Back up now.
  2. Record and check the backupRecord every word on paper in order. Tap Next and finish the device word-order check.
  3. Display the account QRSelect networks and confirm with OK to display Mini’s connection QR.
  4. Connect the appIn App 5.0, choose Connect wallet → ELLIPAL Titan Series → Scan to connect. Scan Mini’s complete QR and wait until connection finishes.

Before the first deposit, verify the intended receiving address on Mini.

Check the receiving address on Mini

Match account, network and address format on both screens; a receiving QR needs no Mini signature.

  1. Open the matching networkIn the app, tap Receive for the intended asset and network. On Mini, select the same network → Receive.
  2. Match the address formatIf offered, choose a sender-supported format with the app’s address-type control, then match it on Mini.
  3. Compare before sharingCompare complete app and Mini addresses. Share the checked address and exact network only when they match.

A small first transfer must meet the receiving minimum; wait until credited before sending more.

Mini does not fetch balances. If a deposit is missing, check account, network, token and transfer status.

Review on Mini, then submit from the phone

Start with an account already created or restored on Mini and connected to the app. Get receiving details from the official Receive/Deposit page for the account where funds should arrive; confirm recipient-provided address and network through a trusted communication channel. Keep enough fee currency. Reject a token spending permission when intending an ordinary transfer.

If the account is not ready or connected, follow setup first.

At Mini’s hardware step, select the intended account and network. Reject mismatches or unexplained requests before approval; hardware may not display every field. Account-connection and receiving QR codes are not signing requests.

  1. In the app, select the intended account, asset and network.
  2. Choose Send. Enter the recipient, amount and any memo or destination tag required by the receiving instructions.
  3. Compare full address, asset, network and any required reference with the receiving details. Check the intended amount and fee.
  4. Choose Sign on Mini, follow its authorization prompts and scan the phone’s unsigned QR. Compare full recipient address and amount with intended details.
  5. If details match, approve on Mini. In the app, choose Scan signed QR code and scan Mini’s signed result.
  6. Finish submitting in the app to broadcast the signed payment.
  7. Check status before retrying. Signing and submission are separate from network confirmation and credited receipt.

The exact Mini procedure supplies App 5.0 and 4.X’s detailed clicks.

Keep the words and optional passphrase usable

Mini checks newly generated words during setup. A separate later backup-check procedure is not confirmed: ELLIPAL’s Verify Seed Phrase guide names Titan 2.0. Do not treat restoring over an account as a backup check.

Recovery phrase
Restores the wallet’s keys. Keep every original word in order; other credentials cannot replace it.
Account password
Authorizes account operations on Mini. It is not a substitute for the recovery phrase.
Optional passphrase
Combines with the words to determine the wallet. Recovery needs the exact same value; different case, spaces or characters open different addresses.

Keep any passphrase safely offline. You do not need to add one simply because Mini supports it.

Before choosing a replacement, check its backup format, passphrase support, assets and account arrangement. Matching word count alone is insufficient.

Restore the original wallet without erasing working access

For replacement or a forgotten account password, restore with the original phrase and exact optional passphrase. Enter them only on Mini, never the app or support forms. Keep any existing signer until the restored accounts are checked.

If Mini reports an existing address and asks to overwrite, stop unless replacing that account is intentional and its complete recovery details are ready. This is not a harmless backup test.

The exact Mini procedure supplies the app-version pairing route for the restored account.

  1. Enter the original recovery detailsChoose Recover via Seed Phrase, select the original word count and enter every word in order. Enter the exact original passphrase if used; otherwise leave it blank.
  2. Set the account and networksSet an account name and new account password. Select the required networks and tap OK, then connect the resulting account QR using the official app-version route above.
  3. Check the corresponding addressCompare the restored receiving address with the corresponding original account, network, address type, derivation path and position in its address sequence. An arbitrary old address or account name is insufficient.

If you cannot identify the corresponding address, consult the original wallet’s recovery instructions before deciding the phrase is wrong. A different address alone does not mean funds disappeared.

If the corresponding address matches but funds are missing, check the account’s networks, tokens, balances and history. Keep the old signer until checks pass.

Without complete recovery details or another device that authorizes, ELLIPAL cannot recreate access.

Use the Mini firmware file and its update adapter

Keep Mini’s adapter for charging and card-based firmware maintenance. Updating the phone app is separate; a computer used to prepare a card is not a USB signing connection.

ELLIPAL’s rendering shows Mini’s bottom contacts above a separate adapter with a USB-C power port and microSD card slot.
Manufacturer rendering of Mini and its separate adapter. The card carries the firmware update; the USB-C port supplies power, not a USB signing connection.

Prepare an 8, 16 or 32 GB FAT32 microSD card, computer, reader and Mini adapter with its power supply. Save unrelated files before formatting, which erases them. Keep the adapter unpowered until card insertion.

Use the official Mini version/download entry and detailed card-preparation instructions before copying firmware.

  1. Identify and prepare Mini’s fileCheck Settings → About: MINI identifies Mini; Titan2.0 and EC02 are different models. Compare the current Mini entry. Keep only its correct compressed, originally named ZIP in the card root; avoid old files and duplicate suffixes. Eject the card.
  2. Insert the card before powerInsert it in Mini’s adapter, then connect wall power rather than computer USB. Check blue card detection. Power off Mini and seat it; it starts automatically.
  3. Install and verifyOpen Settings → Update, check the detected version and choose Start Update. Keep power connected and Mini seated through installation and restart. After success, check that the installed version in Settings → About matches the exact Mini firmware version you downloaded.

A USB-C Android phone with external-storage support and a compatible microSD reader can prepare the card. That reader is separate from Mini’s adapter; the documented download method excludes iPhone.

For missing card detection, interrupted installation or failure, follow the exact-model troubleshooting conditions. Any exceptional filename-change repair is conditional, not routine preparation. Do not erase the wallet as an update fix.
