Before you choose
Consider
DCENT SS has no independent transaction screen. Optional recovery words are displayed and entered in the phone app, so choose another model if you want those tasks on the hardware.
BitBox02 NovaOn iPhone and iPad, Bluetooth carries the data but the wallet still needs a physical power connection. You control it by touching its edges, not the screen. BitBoxApp on iPhone and iPad guides firmware updates when a compatible version is offered.
With an iPhone, plug BitBox02 Nova into the phone or another suitable power source. It uses Bluetooth to exchange data. Ethereum needs the Multi edition; the Bitcoin-only edition cannot be changed to Multi.
Android
BitBoxAppUSBBitcoin / EthereumPhone needs USB OTGConnection requirements
Your Android phone needs USB OTG support to connect to Nova over USB. Ethereum requires the Multi edition; a Bitcoin-only device cannot be changed to Multi.
